Ambrosia Catalogue

The catalogue is an un-bound, risograph printed publication, housed in a dust jacket and a zip bag. Each artist will get one page, with a single color risograph print of their work on the front, and an artist statement on the back, reminiscent of a library checkout card.

All designing, printing, and assembly of the catalogue was done in-house by the graphic design senior class in the VCUarts GOLab. There are 80 editions total.

A gif of the catalog and a few stacking pages. On the left, the gif alternates between a catalog with an orange zip envelope and a catalog with a purple zip. The orange zip shows the front, while the purple zipe shows the back. The inside pages are fanning out from the opening in both. On the right, a cycling gif of pages including the show statement, student pages of each color, list of student names and colophon.
A gif with photographs highlighting various editions of the catalogs. Some images show the catalogs with multicolored plastic zip envelopes in a rainbow spread, while others show the catalog being opened physically held by hands.
