A photobook named after my mother that jumps off a previous project called Thank You Grocery. This project presents a series of images and image-making using a collection of photos taken within my household. These photos are documentations of food and the time spent around the food such as cooking, talking, eating, shopping, and plating.

It is very important to me that my work is honest to the space I’m making work about so I’ve been using materials, tools, and equipment found in my household in order to convey these images and channel the environment it is in. Some of the materials I’ve used are napkins, paper towels, receipts, banana leaves, styrofoam trays, etc.
